Traffic stop leads to gun and drug arrest | News
KALAMAZOO, MI (WZZM) - One man is in custody today after Public Safety officers conducted a routine traffic stop in Kalamazoo.
Officers detained the driver and passengers after smelling marijuana and seeing open alcohol containers in the vehicle. Upon searching the car, officers found heroin, marijuana, and a loaded 9mm handgun, which had been stolen.
A 20 year-old Kalamazoo resident is currently in Kalamazoo County Jail for a list of charges from the night.
