Suspicious fires plague Kalamazoo | News

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WZZM) - Kalamazoo Public Safety is investigating several suspicious fires from over the weekend.

The first fire was Saturday evening at about 9:00pm in a dumpster in the 1500 block of W. Michigan.  About an hour after that fire was extinguished, crews were called back to battle another fire in the dumpster.

On Sunday evening, crews were called to a trash fire in the 1000 block of W. Michigan Drive, again at about 9:00pm.  Another fire was reported there later that night as well.

A fifth fire destroyed a garage in the 900 block of West Lovell at about 3:30am Monday.
