New Online Reporting System

Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) is proud to announce the implementation of a new Online Reporting System called “Coplogic”.  Coplogic will allow citizens to make a report 24 hours a day, 365 days a year on non-emergency type incidents.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety continues to look for ways to create efficiencies in our operations and to provide the most professional services available to the citizens of Kalamazoo. “Coplogic” will provide a more timely way for citizens to report non-emergency incidents which affords our Public Safety Officers the opportunity to focus on community outreach and problem solving in our neighborhoods.

To access the system, please go to www.kalamazoopublicsafety.org  click on Report a Crime and read what the requirements are.  Once you have read it, click on one of the nine (9) choices at the bottom: child custody violation, lost property, theft, harassing telephone, malicious destruction of property, theft of gas, identity theft, suspicious activity, and trouble with subject. There is a column that gives a definition of the crime and one that gives an example.
