On April 18, 2015, the Friends of the Portage Senior Center will host the first "It’s in the Bag" purse sale and raffle. Gently used purses and tote bags, both name brands and knockoffs, will be available for purchase at bargain prices. The sale will run from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. and is open to the public.
"Folks have donated more than 700 bags of all shapes and sizes," said Senior Center Manager, Kim Phillips. A variety of new name brand bags, donated by generous sponsors, will be raffled off during the event. Raffle tickets are available for sale at the Portage Senior Center (PSC). Proceeds from the raffle and the purse sale will support operations at the PSC.
