KENTWOOD, Mich.—A West Michigan business is tapping into the Christmas spirit, one dollar at a time.

Throughout the holiday season, West Side Beer Distributing is teaming up with the businesses it supplies to sell paper Christmas ornaments for $1 each. All of the proceeds will go to God’s Kitchen; Love, Inc.; Montcalm County Food Bank; Ionia County Food Bank; South Central Michigan Food Bank in Kalamazoo; and the Lansing Area Food Bank.

West Side Beer Distributing has been donating paper Christmas ornaments for the fundraiser for 19 years.  In that time, the business has collected more than $175,000 in donations to local food banks.

“Our company and our hardworking employees strongly believe in supporting our communities, and this fundraising program is one way we can give back to families in need,” said West Side President Keith Klopcic. “For generations, our community has supported this company, allowing us to succeed, grow, create jobs and deliver quality products and services. As a family-owned, community-centered company, West Side and our 420-plus employees want to do what we can to our neighbors in return.”

The paper ornaments are available at any of the businesses supplied by West Side Beer Distributing.

West Side Beer Distributing serves more than 3,300 customers within the Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing and Romulus areas.  The company is located at 5400 Patterson Ave. SE in Kentwood.
